Exercise for every season
Tai Chi connects us with the ever-changing, ever-flowing cycle, rhythm and harmony of life.
The seasons are part of that cycle and our exercises honour this natural flow of energy.
While each program carries a season name, they can be practiced and enjoyed any season, anytime, anywhere. Four Seasons Tai Chi is suitable for beginners and is explained in a specially created DVD and set of seasonal excersice wall charts.
Ancient art alive today
Tai Chi is a recreational fitness system of gentle relaxing exercises and flowing movements practiced in China for centuries. It is sometimes called a moving meditation. Qigong has its roots in traditional Chinese health concepts of energy meridians and combines breathing, posture, gentle movement and meditation to generate and promote a sense of well-being. Qigong is a good foundation for Tai Chi training.
Yin and Yang
The Yin and Yang symbol is a visual representation of the philosophy of the Tao, the way of nature. It shows how life is constantly changing and moving to maintain balance and stability.
Tai Chi follows the principles of Yin and Yang,
the two opposing forces of life, such as night
and day, retreating and advancing, sinking
and rising, gathering and expanding.
This is tai Chi - harmony in motion.
